How We Started

In 2014, after years working in corporate travel management, our founder noticed a gap. Travelers wanted more than generic packages but lacked the time to research and coordinate complex itineraries themselves. peak-canopy emerged as a solution: expert curation without the corporate detachment.

We started with walking tours in the Lake District. Our first clients were friends who wanted guidance exploring the fells without joining large tour groups. Word spread. Soon we were arranging journeys across the UK, then Europe, and eventually into Asia and beyond.

Based in Manchester, our team of seven brings diverse expertise. Some come from hospitality backgrounds, others from adventure guiding or cultural research. What unites us is a genuine love for exploration and a commitment to crafting journeys that resonate long after travelers return home.
